With the Chapter's monthly hangouts, led by our medical-student committee, we aim to:
- Create and provide a relaxed, stress-free social environment for medical students to interact with and learn from NY based surgeons.

furthering your professional development and a commitment to knowing
more about this exciting and challenging profession. We work
continuously to comprehensively address the surgical education needs in
surgery for medical students during all four years of medical school,
supports educational efforts that facilitate the transition from medical
school to residency training, and encourages the involvement of medical

The New York Chapter is building it's membership committee.
It's goals are to:
- To develop and promote programs for medical students
- To provide an avenue for leadership and engagement within the NY Chapter ACS and the ACS
- To support the professional development of medical students through scholarships
