The New York Chapter Jessica Summers Memorial Fund
Honoring the exceptional contributions made by Jessica Summers, MD, FACS to surgical education, mentoring and humanity, the New York Chapter of the American College 
of Surgeons has established the New York Chapter Jessica Summers Memorial Fund through the ACS Foundation.
One hundred percent of your gift will advance the New York Chapter's mission to support medical student, resident and young fellow education and training in New York.
Your gift will support:
- Mentoring opportunities
- Research competitions
- Educational grants to attend the ACS Clinical Congress, the Leadership & Advocacy Summit, and
- New York Chapter-related events and initiatives that advance the mission of the American College of Surgeons and our chapter each year.
Who Can Donate?Anyone may donate to the New York Chapter Jessica Summers Memorial Fund. In addition, many employers offer a matching program for employees making charitable donations. The American College of Surgeons Foundation is a 501C-3 nonprofit as established by the IRS. This tax status means that donations towards the New York Chapter Jessica Summers Memorial Fund are considered charitable contributions and are thus tax deductible. | How Do I DonateThe fund is administered by the American College of Surgeons Foundation. Your donation is tax deductible. You will receive a receipt and acknowledgment from the Foundation.
